DAY 1: Depart Kampala at 7.00am and drive to Masindi for a Lunch break and thereafter proceed to Murchison Falls N.P for check-in. Have an evening Game drive to view some animals like Buffaloes, Giraffes, Elephants, Warthogs and waterbucks before returning to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at your own will after entertainment.
DAY 2: Have an early morning Game drive where the Giraffe, Waterbucks, Elephant, Lions and Warthogs among others will be viewed and return to the Lodge for breakfast before taking a Launch Cruise at the bottom of the falls to sight Hippos, Waterbirds and Crocodiles. Reach the Top of the falls to marvel at the mighty Nile plunging into 45m below through a narrow cleft before having Lunch from the Lodge. Thereafter have a Natures walk from Rabongo or Budongo Forest to have an encounter with Chimpanzees, Birds and other rain forest creatures like the Tree squirrel and return to the Lodge for Dinner and overnight at your own pace and will after entertainment.
DAY 3: Have an early Breakfast and prepare to depart to Semuliki N.P via Fortportal where we will have picturesque scenery of Banana plantations, homestead settings and green Mountains. Have a lunch stopover enroute and shopping of Art and Crafts before Check-in at the selected lodge. Take a rest to get rid of fatigue and have Dinner, entertainment and overnight.
DAY 4: Have an early Breakfast and take a Nature’s walk of Ituri Forest that contains 336 Tree species, over 53 mammals which include the Forest Elephant and Forest Buffalo, smaller versions of their savannah relatives, Butterflies and over 441 Bird species recorded. Primates to be sighted include the black and white Colobus, Central African Red Colobus, Blue monkey, Red-tailed monkey, De Brazza’s monkey, Vervet monkey, Grey-Cheeked Mangabey, Dent’s Mona Monkey among others. Thereafter reach the Sempaya Hot Springs one of the Park’s most famous attractions where there are two main Springs in a lush swampy area and bubbling up from the depths beneath Sempaya and demonstrates the powerful subterranean forces that have shaped the Rift valley for the last 14 Million years. These Springs are dominated by boiling geysers which spurts up to 2m high from a white, iced cake-like base of a precipitated mineral with water bubbles in small pools from where eggs can be boiled. The Semliki valley is a cradle of vegetation growth with an annual 1250mm of rain between MAR – MAY and SEP – DEC. Have Lunch and drive to Kibale N.P, check-in at the Lodge for overnight and Dinner after entertainment.
DAY 5: Have an early Breakfast before embarking on a sensational Chimp tracking in the Kibale Forest which boasts of the highest concentration of Primates within East Africa and thereafter take a Guided Natures walk to explore the Parks greatest diversity of wild Monkeys and Birds. Return to the Lodge for Lunch and drive to Queen Elizabeth N.P for Check-in at the Lodge and thereafter have an evening Game Drive before Dinner and overnight after entertainment.
DAY 6: Have an early Morning Game Drive at 6.30Am from where Lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, Warthogs, Hyenas and Kobs among others will be sighted. Return to the Lodge for Breakfast and thereafter have a Launch Cruise on the Kazinga Channel which joins Lakes Edward and George for an encounter with Hippos, Crocodiles, Waterbirds and Animals grazing from the shores. Return to the Lodge for a tour of the Parks Museum and thereafter drive back to Kampala with packed Lunch where you will be dropped at your Hotel in Kampala with stopovers enroute for shopping of Art and Craft including photography at places of your interest.
